Argument pages... evidence

Great work Jenna. Your writing is so clean, it's a pleasure to read. What I want to see you incorporating into your efforts are argument pages and quotes from major sources in this debate. I will help you with this soon. The first place to start is compiling a pro/con resources section at the bottom of the page. Have a look at some other debate pages and how this is done. Perhaps we could set a time to work together simultaneously next week, on the 12th, as I have set on the Debatepedia:Debate collaborations page.-- Brooks Lindsay 14:28, 8 March 2008 (CST)

Congratulations Jenna

Jenna, I'm not surprised you made the finals of the 4th Korean High School Debate Championships. You're an excellent thinker and writer. Keep it up. -- Brooks Lindsay 14:13, 8 March 2008 (CST)

Weekly times to work together

Jenna, give me a four hour block next week where we can work simultaneously online. -- Brooks Lindsay 13:08, 7 February 2008 (CST)

Cool videos

I like the videos. See if you can find some con ones. -- Brooks Lindsay 17:00, 26 January 2008 (CST)

Olympics

Jenna, I did a bunch of work on the Olympics debate. One thing you can do, is try to find an additional 3 resources for the pro side and 3 resources for the con side, and draw from them supporting evidence to put in th argument pages. -- Brooks Lindsay 17:15, 25 January 2008 (CST)

Quick Tip

The recent changes and history pages are where you can view the most recent edits made by users - valuable on a wiki. -- Brooks Lindsay 19:09, 15 January 2008 (CST)

Niiice

Good work in putting together those resources. I couldn't resist helping out; I love this stuff! If you want me to walk you through the process of creating an argument, argument page, and quoting a piece of supporting evidence from one of these articles, that's the next step. P.S., Cool user page. -- Brooks Lindsay 19:06, 15 January 2008 (CST)

Your topic

Jenna, let's you and I work for a little bit on creating the pro/con resources section of the Boycotting the 2008 Beijing Olympics debate.

Click "edit" on the existing pro/con resource section where I've provided a single resource, and observe how how the external link is made. You will be copying and pasting the url from the sources that you use into the structure that you'll see in the wiki editing window there. -- Brooks Lindsay 17:52, 15 January 2008 (CST)

Hey Jenna

Would you prefer that I call you Jenna? -- Brooks Lindsay 10:39, 15 January 2008 (CST)

Cool, Jenna. ;) Now, make sure to sign your comments on other people's pages with ~~~~ so that they know who made the comment and can reply on your user page. -- Brooks Lindsay 17:43, 15 January 2008 (CST)

Editing tasks

Assignment (due by July 4th or 6th) - Jenna, would you cut-and-paste quotations from the following link (http://freenet-homepage.de/dpinfo/lawenforcement.htm) into appropriate argument pages in the capital punishment article. -- Brooks Lindsay 14:18, 2 July 2008 (CDT)
