You are right Curious Explorer. We've been moving, in many articles, to opening pro/con sections that show the hypothetical motions of the pro AND the con "houses" in a debate. This resolves, I think, what you are rightly pointing out. Indeed, "this house" was initially meant only to reflect the proposition (pro side) of a debate, but not the conclusion or consensus opinion of the community. But, it's better that the motions of both sides of the debate be presented. -- [[User:Brooks Lindsay|Brooks Lindsay]] 11:48, 9 July 2008 (CDT) You are right Curious Explorer. Hi! Please leave a message for now.

Motions

You are right Curious Explorer. We've been moving, in many articles, to opening pro/con sections that show the hypothetical motions of the pro AND the con "houses" in a debate. This resolves, I think, what you are rightly pointing out. Indeed, "this house" was initially meant only to reflect the proposition (pro side) of a debate, but not the conclusion or consensus opinion of the community. But, it's better that the motions of both sides of the debate be presented. -- Brooks Lindsay 11:48, 9 July 2008 (CDT)
