Yes, you are right, I should spend more time developing new arguments and cooperating with other editors. I will try to focus on that. Thanks for your feedback :)

Happy New Year
Thanks Brooks :)
Enjoy your holidays and - happy New Year!

Added arguments and sources and subquestions to the three empty argument
I added some arguments to the gambling tax, fully-body scan, and the "too big to fail" debates that you made. Bye--Voltaire 00:56, 1 January 2010 (CST)
Re: Welcome (Mason11987)
- Thanks Brooks, I've had this idea for a wiki site for a while but it's always seemed just too messy. The templates you're using (and mods I assume) all make it very easy to focus on ideas instead of wiki-syntax. Even though I love the latter it's a barrier to entry for a lot of users. I've been admin/bureaucrat at several different similar sized wikis where I normally focus on organization and planning, as well as using templates for a lot of interesting things. I'll be looking more into the site sometime later this week to see if there is any place where I could provide some value.
Just to kick off my assistance I always found it extremely useful if people added a talk link (and optionally a contributions link) to their signature in order to make conversations easier. I've modified my signature like so: Mason11987 (Talk)
In case you're interested I figured I'd set you up with the same, just go to your preferences and check "Raw signature" and paste this into your nickname:

1. In terms of forums, mediawiki, unless heavily modded, isn't really very good for this kind of thing in my opinion. I've seen several sites use mediawiki for their content and use something like vBulliten for their community discussion. I know it's possible to link the two so that users don't have to make accounts on both, but I have no experience in actually pulling something like that off.
Am I allowed to delete an argument that is on the side I am arguing in a debate if the argument is inaccurate. For example, on the capitalism vs socialism debate someone has added an argument using the "successes" of the Soviet Union to argue for socialism even though the SU was NOT socialist (a point that I made repeatedly). Can I delete this and if not then what can I do?
I feel bad deleted someone's work... Is there anyway you can contact the person who edited it and explain the predicament to them so it isn't as harsh if I delete it?
Those big government debates
Hi, I recently clicked on the newest pages button to see some new action and debates. What I found was a series of debates about big governments that was made by you. I mean no offense, but why not put them with the Big Government debate? It's just that it may be a bit confusing. Thanks. --Voltaire 10:33, 28 January 2010 (EST)
Oh, I didn't realize that those were extensions of long quotes and things like that. I'm sorry.
It's this one.
re: capitalism vs socialism
I tried to change the second title link so it was a real word and I broke the link. Can you please help?
Also, can you notify me when someone edits the debate capitalism vs socialism?
Liberationfromwithin 16:51, 28 January 2010 (EST)
It's ok, i fixed it. And I put it on watch :) Thank you.
Hey, I'm sorry about the "ToC" mess. I just though it a good idea to make all (even less-developed debates) look alike - at least as far as layout is concerned.
Actually, how about arranging a Skype talk sometime? (This Sunday, my evening? Would that suit you?)
Lenka, 29th January, 2010, 14:57
Citizens United v. Federal Election Commission
Well, I found out about the Supreme Court's ruling on the topic, and crawled through Debatepedia looking for it. Yet I didn't find it, so I made a debate myself. Although, I may have some debating skills, I have horrible Internet skills. So please try to improve the debate. Just search "Right for corporations to spend money to influence elections". Something will show up. I know that this is an important topic, and a debate like that could certainly use help from the editor himself. It would mean much to me if you do. Thanks. --Voltaire 11:41, 29 January 2010 (EST)
Whoa, what a coincidence. What you said was a great move, merging the debates together. I think it's a great idea, and I think you should do it. Bye. --Voltaire 05:09, 30 January 2010 (EST)
changing a link title
Hi. There is a link to an extended argument on capitalism vs socialism that is entitled "market prices do not reflect externalities". Could you please change that to "market prices do not reflect social cost"? Since I am afraid to change it for fear of corrupting the link.
Liberationfromwithin 22:00, 30 January 2010 (EST)
re: changing argument title
Thank you. That works.
The reason I don't want to use "externalities" is because it is not generally understood and it doesn't mean what I want, whereas "social cost" sums up more succinctly what I want to say and is more universally understood. What I am trying to say is that market prices do not reflect costs to society ("social cost"), in cases such as environmental damage, human rights abuses etc. The word "externalities" just means everything that is left out of market prices because it effects third parties. Saying "market prices exclude externalities" is like saying "prices in central planning are decided by the state - it's just reiterating what the word means. Social cost is the particular type of externality that makes market prices so dangerous and socially distorted.

Hi. I'm doing fine. What about you? Cool, I was going to add something to the corporate spending debate but it was too mainstream and based on too many mainstream assumptions (such as that corporations should not be instantly abolished, or that polyarchy is a desirable system) so that if I added something I would undercut the arguments of the other people arguing against corporate spending on elections.
One question: I am going off to Tanzania for a week and a half on wednesday so could you please wait until I get back (saturday week) to feature capitalism vs socialism?
Liberationfromwithin 14:13, 8 February 2010 (EST)
I'm going as a school trip. We are going to help teach and build stuff at a school for blind children. We are also going to the Ngorongoro crater. I will tell you. Where are you going?

Israeli-U.S special relations debate
Hi. I've just edited the Israeli-U.S special relations debate that you've made. I made 3 subquestions, wrote the background, and added some links. Yet I did a lousy job because I was in a hurry. Speaking of hurrying, I must go now! Bye.--Voltaire 04:02, 21 February 2010 (EST)
Thank you. What is the dedicated arguments page by the way? And how do I put stuff on it?
capitalism vs socialism
What happened to my edit about how imperialism is a necessary part of capitalism? You know, the one with the long quote from the Indian economist. If you have deleted it then is there any way to resurrect it?
Liberationfromwithin 14:43, 22 February 2010 (EST)
re: discarded argument
Thank you. I have re split up the argument explaining imperialism from the one explaining the results of it. You can make the second one so that only one paragraph shows and the rest is in the extended argument section, like you did with the other ones. But please keep the links. I just had to manually put each back in.
Liberationfromwithin 15:36, 22 February 2010 (EST)
Thank you. I understand now.
Yeah, that was what I was worried about. I feel uncomfortable saying something unless I can give extensive evidence. But I guess if it won't be ignored then it is fine.
By the way, I rearranged it so the history one is before the philosophy one because I feel it works better at the beginning as it is the most practical. Is that ok?
Liberationfromwithin 16:25, 22 February 2010 (EST)
re: more comments
That sounds fine. I will try to do that as much as I can.
Liberationfromwithin 17:22, 23 February 2010 (EST)
I was just wondering if you would be able to merge my arguments in the climate debt debate that never took off into arguments for the debate on increasing debt to developing countries (you know the one on the front page)?
capitalism vs socialism
Hi. I think I've done condensing my arguments in capitalism vs socialism. Are there any that need to be further condensed?
Liberationfromwithin 15:06, 2 March 2010 (EST)
Hi Brooks. Thanks, I am doing fine, although I have been quite snowed under lately. How have you been by the way? We have not Skyped for a long time.
I am planning on jumping in again tomorrow, because now I am in the mountains and my Internet access is kinda crappy.
Best, Lenka, 10th March 2010, 18:25
Hi. Thank you, I´m doing ok (despite the fact that I am preparing for AP exams - you surely know them, don´t you?)..
Actually, I won´t be applying to any US university because there are no scholarships for undergraduates and I am kind of short of cash. Thanks to the EU grants and student loans I will be able to apply to British universities - so far I have chosen three (I have plenty time given that Oxbridge deadline is sometime in October and all the others are in December or so).
I would be really grateful if you could write a letter of recommendation for me, but the thing is - the universities want primarily something by some of my teachers. However, it is possible to submit an additional reference later, directly to the university. So I think this would be a way to go.
How have you been lately? Any special plans for Debatepedia for the coming weeks?
Lenka, 23rd March 2010, 19:22
Days to come
Oh, I wanted to apologise - I am flying to Lithuania (World Individual Debating and Public Speaking Championship) on Wednesday, so I (most probably) won´t be able to write anything in the next few days.
Is there anything special you would like me to focus on when I come back?
Lenka, 5th April 2010, 18:19
re: hey there
I'm doing fine but I have lots of work to do for school. I have got some very good books recently though :) how are you doing? how are the debates going?
Wow, that's alot of views. I would say about half of those views are me adding more to the debate. lol
Liberationfromwithin 15:08, 5 April 2010 (EDT)
How's everything going?
Hi Brooks, it's Matt. I haven't been on the site for a while but I just thought I'd drop in and see how everything is going for you. How have you and the site been lately? Matt 09:57, 14 April 2010 (EDT)
Yeah, I'm going pretty well. I still enjoy debating. I've been interested to see how much the site has expanded. It looks like you're getting there but not quite there yet. Good luck with the site and everything. I'll drop by every now and again. I might do a bit more editing too. Matt 20:01, 14 April 2010 (EDT)
Debatepedia - Mission: Possible
Thanks Brooks, I think Debatepedia has made real progress in the past few months. It's great that there are so many new active editors, as this was exactly what this site needed.
I am taking the AP exams in a couple of days, so I won't be editing that much now (but I will make up for it later, I promise).
How have you been? :)
Lenka 16:04, 1st May 2010
Hey Brooks, I figured I was just about done with the immigration debate, so I figured I'd move on. Anyways, I created a debate on US Sanctions of North Korea, but for some reason, it's called "cuba sanctions." I was wondering if you might be able to fix that. Here's a link:
Also, as you might have seen, I started building-out arguments for the Israel-US Relationship. I'll probably continue that sometime this week.
If there's anything you need done, just let me know and I'll get right to it. Thanks, -Isaac
Question from my talk page
Can we do the sort of closed debate we would like to have here? Please answer on my page, thx. Pandeism 21:09, 4 May 2010 (EDT)
Thanks so much!!!!
Thanks so much for allowing me to intern!! I'm really looking forward to it. Just one thing: Due to upcoming AP exams (I'm sure Lentkahabitenova has told you about them), I might not be able to do as much work as I normally would, just until this Friday. After that, though, I will have a huge burden off my workload and will surely not let you down :) Thanks again
Hi, just wanted some form of permission to start a new debate, because this one can be huge. I'm sure you've heard about the lawsuit against Goldman Sachs, so I want to create a debate on whether Goldman should be responsible or not. Since this one is potentially a very huge one, just wanted some form of permission. Thanks. --Voltaire 09:59, 7 May 2010 (EDT)
Re: Goldman Sachs
I just finished doing the background, external links, the usual in the debate. The page name is SEC v. Goldman Sachs. Would be great if you help. Thanks. --Voltaire 07:22, 9 May 2010 (EDT)
Potential New Debate
As you might have seen from the 'Recent Changes', I created . I was hoping to get some assistance with the debate as soon as you (or anyone else) got some free time. I feel that this is a very important issue, and should definitely become a part of the site. Thanks. Ifisher18
Re: Potential New Debate
Hey, for some reason I thought it was a rather pressing issue, but a quick google news search tells me it really isn't. Sorry about that. What do you think about a new debate on the Greece Bailout? I definitely feel that is an important topic, as it represents a critical point in international relations and has impacted the entire world. Let me know what you think. Ifisher18
I am done with my AP exams, therefore I am ready to work assiduously again. Firstly, I wanted to ask - do you think that pages such as Steven Hubick or Carson Tucker are desirable on Debatepedia? Given that they are not related to any debate in any way...
Secondly, what do you think about the Competitive debate schedule and topics? Should I delete past competitions - say, older than a year?
And lastly - how about a Skype call sometime? There are a couple of things I'd like to discuss with you :)
Lenka, 14th May 2010, 11:55
First, thank you so much for all the nice things you say about me. I'm extremely honored and excited that Debate: Greece bailout will be next up on Debate Digest!!!! By the way, I think you should know that, though I tried to resist, I had to add myself to the list of 'Active Editors'. Sorry, I just couldn't help it. Anyway, I was wondering if there's anything I could do for Debate: Mine Ban Treaty (Ottawa Treaty). Also, I have found the Table of Contents feature to be extremely useful, and I would really love to know how to create one. Can you teach me how? And lastly, I was wondering how long each Debate Digest article usually stays as the featured article. Thanks again for all your generous compliments :) Ifisher18
Do you have any tips/suggestions?
Just one more thing. I was wondering if you had any comments (tips, suggestions) as to if I should continue with the Greek Bailout Debate, or if I should move on. Whatever you want. I just wanted to get some kind of update. Thanks Brooks :) Ifisher18
I was thinking, with primaries approaching (not 'that' far away), maybe Debatepedia could feature some sort of "Election Special", dissecting each political candidate and helping citizens make an educated decision on who they should vote for. Just throwing it out there, your call. Ifisher18
Sorry about that
Sorry about the quote mis-citation, it won't happen again. Thanks for all your advice, I'll definitely keep it in mind for future debates. By the way, do you think the current Category: 2010 US Elections has an adequate number of primaries to begin with, and maybe we can expand after? I think I'll take charge on this one and begin this weekend. Let me know if you need me to do anything else, and I'll get right to it. Thanks Ifisher18
Hi, I was wondering whether "wikipedia-like" articles such as Belarus or Sri Lanka are of any value for Debatepedia. The same question applies to "assignment" pages (Homework Assignments, Assignment), and (almost) undebatable motions (Debate:women keep our society together, Debate: love is misunderstanding between two innocent heats). Should I delete pages like these?
Lenka, May 19th 2010, 14:37
Re: Deletion policy
OK, I think I have deleted most of those unnecessary/weird pages.
Actually, my school has not ended yet. I have something over a month to go. Fortunately, I am finished with most of the exams (including APs), so I have enough time to work on Debatepedia (and to debate, of course). :)
How have you been? :-)
Lenka, May 19th 2010, 19:51
Hey Brooks, I was just wondering if you wanted to retask me to another debate, most likely one of the upcoming Debate Digest articles, so that I could sort of 'get a head-start' and you could basically 'clean up my work'. I think that worked pretty well in this past debate on the Greece Bailout. Just wondering, do you plan on making a video no the Greece bailout? And also, though it is clearly unrealistic, I came across a 'bill' (in Student Congress Club) on proposing the 28th amendment to ratify Washington DC as the 51st state. One of the supposed arguments was taxation without representation, which I thought was actually a pretty interesting argument. I know it's extremely far-fetched and unrealistic, but I thought you'd get a kick out of that. Best, Ifisher18
Hi Brooks, I am afraid I won't be able to work on Debatepedia in the week to come because I am going somewhere "in the woods" with my class (our P.E. teacher deems it essential). But of course, I will have plenty time to brainstorm. :) I will make up for that later. Lenka, 22nd May 2010, 20:12
Possible New Debate
Hey Brooks, I was wondering if you'd support my idea of a debate on Congress' recent financial reform overhaul. I thought it might be a good idea since our next 3 or so digest debates deal with similar veil and burqa bans. Let me know what you think. Thanks, Isaac
Hey, Recently, I saw you changed the Debate Digest priority rankings to include EMF and DC voting rights. I was wondering if you'd like me to continue working on the financial reform legislation or to move back to DC voting rights, or to do both. Thanks, Ifisher18
Hi, I made a small change to Argument: Capitalism has fostered imperialism, exploitation, and suffering in capitalism v socialism and now it is screwed up. Could you help me fix it please? Liberationfromwithin
Welcome Page Video
Hey Brooks, I was wondering if you could change the video from 'Ban the Burqa' to 'Ron Paul on Financial Reform.' I recently posted the video as a con argument video that applies to the financial reform bill debate, so I was wondering if you could change the video on the welcome page. And finally, I'd like to create a debate on the Israel flotilla incident, whether or not it was justified. I am slightly biased toward the Israeli side, so I will have no problem doing the Israeli side, but might have a bit more trouble with the other side. Maybe someone else can help out. Let me know what you think. Thank you. Ifisher18
Debate Digest Suggestion
Hey Brooks, Obviously I don't want to get carried away here. I know you're probably getting the impression that I cannot stay at one debate for more than a day or two, but the truth is, I've been so busy with finals this whole week that I really didn't get too much time to spend on Debatepedia. To make it up, I will literally complete the entire pro component of Debate: Israeli raid on Gaza flotilla by the end of this weekend. Continuing to my original point, I was wondering if you'd support me creating a debate on whether or not MLB commissioner Bud Selig should overturn umpire Jim Joyce's call that ended pitcher Armando Galaragga's would-be perfect game. Much debate has arisen on the topic, so I think we should spring it into action on DP, after Israeli flotilla, of course. Thanks Ifisher18
Hey Brooks, I was just wondering when you think Debate: Israeli raid on Gaza flotilla will be ready for Debate Digest, as Debate: Restoring American Financial Stability Act of 2010 has been up for a pretty long time. Also, I was wondering if you'll be making a video for this topic. Thanks! Ifisher18
New Pics on Israeli Flotilla Released
Hey, I thought this was pretty relevant to our current debate on the Israeli flotilla; I wasn't exactly sure how we should incorporate this into the debate. Anyway, check out the pictures. Pretty crazy stuff. http://www.hurriyetdailynews.com/g.php?g=55&p=1 Thanks, Ifisher18
Sorry man ...
I'm sorry, I really had no idea how this was supposed to work - someone just sent me the URL of that page (it wasn't mine, I'm not sure who created it) and I just went with it. Obviously I screwed up the whole thing and made it so no one wanted to participate. For me, I was just fascinated to find people who actually expressed their opinions rather than nastily cutting down other's the way people on most forums do. I actually learned quite a bit from what little was said. I only wish some of those folks had kept on because I was quite interested in their perspective.
But clearly I was outside the rules, or agreed upon customs as they were. So, maybe you should wipe that and start again, or start another and in either case I'll sit back and see how its done.
Hey Brooks, I'm not exactly sure who Bhekisisa Wilkinson is, but this person recently deleted all of the videos I have posted to Debate: Israeli raid on Gaza flotilla. The user has apparently made no previous contributions, which made it all a bit peculiar. Just thought I'd let you know, and hopefully this doesn't happen in the future. Thanks Ifisher18
Haha, I wasn't sure what that was about, but it makes me feel better to know I'm not the only victim. Thanks for your comments, and I'll definitely keep on working. I have to admit, you're like a machine with these argument links. You're almost done with all of them, which is definitely a feat to be proud of. Now, I guess it's basically a few more links, the video, and we've had a pretty solid debate. Thanks Ifisher18
Hey Brooks, I just watched both videos and I really like them! Great job! Just a few things you might want to bring up in the next video, though I'll admit I am a bit biased: 1) IDF offered flotilla to detour to nearby port (at Ashdod), where goods would be inspected and transported to Gaza, to which they responded: "Negative, negative. Our destination is Gaza." Basically, Israel did as much as possible to avoid violence, by warning beforehand. The flotilla, on the other hand, instigated violence by declining Israel's offer and choosing to press forward. 2) The IDF later found wads of cash, thought to be in the millions of dollars, in pockets of 'peaceful' passengers, leading most to think they were paid mercenaries. Later reports found that at least 50 passengers were expected to have been trained mercenaries. Videos also show passengers preparing weapons beforehand. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HZlSSaPT_OU 3) Weapons found by IDF aboard flotilla (check out the last video). 4) No crisis in Gaza, according to article. Goods were already in surplus (also Jerusalem Post, however, so possible bias). 5) I know you brought up that Israel could have fired at rudders and slowed down ship, rather than boarding, but I think you need to also realize the Israeli's position. They specifically warned (check the first video) that violence would be used if the ship was not diverted to Port Ashdod. They repeatedly offered to transport goods under the supervision of the passengers, but the flotilla activists repeatedly declined, which shows their true mission. Probably more, but I think that's plenty. Good job so far on both videos! Ifisher18
Hey, yeah I definitely agree with your points. I agree it could have been handled in a better way, but I think the tremendous criticism and condemnation Israel has received from the international community is largely undeserved. By the way, do you have any ideas for the next couple of debates, after the Israeli blockade? Would you support Debate: Sanctions against Iran's nuclear program? I believe the UN passed a new round of sanctions on Iran as recently as today. Thanks Ifisher18
Re: Project contents page
Sure, I'll do it. :)
Lenka, 15th June 2010
Hey Brooks, Do you want me to move the debate I created yesterday to your new debate? I wasn't sure if you saw it. Anyway, here it is: Debate: Banning vuvuzela horn. Let me know if you need me to do anything. Thanks, Ifisher18
Not a problem at all. I'll get on it right away. :) Ifisher18
Hey Brooks, so I just finished...I think. You may just want to check over a couple of the categories to make sure I did them correctly, but I think they're all done. If there's anything else you need, just let me know. Thanks, Ifisher18
Re: Good Work
Hey Brooks. From what I've seen, none of these pages have the annotation we want on the discussion page: http://debatepedia.idebate.org/en/index.php?title=Special:Newpages&namespace=0&limit=500&offset=0 Would you like me to add them on these pages? Ifisher18
Thanks!!! No problem at all! These tasks are actually not that bad, surprisingly. I'll get it done asap. Ifisher18
A Little Problem
Hey Brooks, so I started constituting a bunch of pages under the "Newest Pages" link. For some reason, though, I cannot access the debates beyond the first 50. Anyway, I just finished the first 50 until I can do the rest. Also, I copied and pasted the phrase you sent me to put under each discussion, but when I pasted it, the "~ ~ ~ ~" (no spaces) part came out as "Ifisher18 08:46, 18 June 2010 (EDT)". You definitely know more about this than me, so just let me know what you want me to do. Thanks Ifisher18
I just figured out the second part, but I still need help accessing the pages beyond the first 50. Thanks, Ifisher18
Accessing All Argument Pages
Hey Brooks, Sorry for the delay on my current assignment (discussion pages), but I just completed my last final exam this afternoon. So, until mid-July, I'm all yours, so feel free to give me any assignments. Back to the original topic: discussion pages. I have finally compiled a web browser with every single Debate Digest article in DP history. They each have the discussion pages set. However, I'm still unable to find a page with all a given article's argument pages. Do I have to do it manually for each article? Thanks, Ifisher18
Argument talk pages, Debate Digest
Great, at least I know the easiest way to add "talk" pages (finally!). Thanks, Brooks :)
You are right. The EMF article is going to be a great Debate Digest, so let´s "get the party started"! ;)
Lenka, 30th June 2010
Hey Brooks, As you might have seen, I've created Debate: Salary cap in MLB, and was wondering if you'd be okay with this being one of the upcoming Digest articles. Also, I have noticed that Lenka has done a lot of work with deleting articles lately. I was wondering how to do that, since it seems there are lots of argument pages and articles that ought to be deleted. By the way, I'll mark up a bunch of argument discussion pages tomorrow. Thanks, Ifisher18
Hey again, I was wondering if you'd ever thought of writing a large "encyclopedia of pros and cons" in book form, based on the hundreds (probably thousands) of debates and arguments on this site. In my opinion, it would be very useful to have a large encyclopedia lying around discussing issues such as health care, immigration, foreign policy, etc. I think it would really help inform the public, which I know is one of the primary objectives of this site. I know it would be a very large project, but let me know what you think. It would be worth it. Thanks, Ifisher18
World Schools Debate Academy
Hey Brooks, regrettably, I will not be able to work on Debatepedia till 12th since I will be participating at WSDA in Slovenia. Nevertheless, when I come back, I will surely have plenty of materials to add to many debate pages. Best, Lenka, 3rd July 2010
Hey Brooks, Happy birthday!!! I recently moved into my dorm at Penn for the summer, where I will be for the summer. As you might have figured out, I do have a laptop, so I'll definitely be working on DP for a good part of the summer. I recently created Debate: Republican vs. Democrat, a debate that will explore the various positions each party takes on key issues. Let me know what you think... Thanks, Ifisher18
Penn and Debate: Democrat vs. Republican
Hey, Thanks for the compliments. This summer, I'm attending the Penn 6-week pre-college program, taking a class on economics for college-credit. Though, I won't be an undergrad next year, it is definitely approaching; so, in a little over a year I hope I will end up here. Anyway, I started working on the debate a bit over an hour ago. Let me know if there are any suggestions you have or if there's anything you'd like me to do. Thanks, Ifisher18
Hi Brooks, I was thinking about the "personal choices debates" (mostly concerning education - e.g. MBA, Law school) and thus I created Debate: AP vs IB, because - in my opinion - this is what might trouble a huge number of high school students. Apart from working on this one, I'll try to go through as many argument pages as humanly possible (so far I have done T - end of alphabet). Is there anything I could do before I leave again? (Youth Forum, this time) But anyways, how's your summer? Best, Lenka, 17th July 2010
Hey Brooks, Sorry about the recent lapse of work on my part. I've been really busy with work in the Econ class I'm taking at Penn. Anyway, I will absolutely begin work on Debate: Democrat vs. Republican today, and will hopefully finish by the end of the week. Hope you're having a good summer! Ifisher18
Hey Brooks, What's up? I just came back from a week-long vacation in Chicago, which was a lot of fun! Is there anything you'd like me to do around here? I recently created a debate that will center around whether or not Israel should attack Iran's nuclear facilities. On another note, as I told you previously, I am very interested in business as a field I plan to pursue later in life. This got me thinking. Lots of web sites (esp. blogs) operate in a way such that their high number of web site views allows them to charge high prices for advertising space on the site. For example, if your website brings in 1000 hits per day, you can tell a company: If you advertise on my site, you will get at least 1000 hits per day. This can be a good revenue generator. Plus, I'd love to spearhead an advertising project, if that's alright with you. Let me know what you think. Ifisher18
Re: Main page and site notice
Hi Brooks, don't worry, I'll take care of that. Enjoy the summit! :) Lenka
glad to hear that the summit was a success! :)
I am doing fine, despite the fact that UCAS (the website through which one applies to UK universities) and its guidelines has become "my constant study", to quote Mr. Wilde. Apart from that, life is great. Team Czech Rep. has made it to the finals of the World Online Debating Championships, so keep your fingers crossed for us, please ,)
Are there any projects you would like me to work on in the coming weeks?
RecentChangesCamp and templates
Hi Brooks! The name sounded familiar but I didn't place your face - glad to have the connection now! Really nice wiki you have built here. Congrats!!! I have some skill in building templates... will poke around a little and see what I can do or not do! If I can figure it out a little, would love to skype or something. Best, MarkDilley
