Conntetions?

Q: I'm at a loss for contentions. Any ideas or suggestions about this topic, PLEASE let me know ASAP! =]

A: You should probably start by looking for recent newspaper and journal articles that address this issue. There's been a great deal of discussion of whether Putin's Russia has become a threat to United States interests. To debate this well, you should probably be sure to clearly define the interests that you will claim Russia is threatening. For instance, Russia has stood in the way of Unted States' attempt to impose stronger sanctions against Iran. If you could show that the United States has an interest in seeing harsher sanctions imposed on Iran, then you'd have shown one instance in which Russia had become a threat to United States' interests.
