Welcome

Welcome Voltaire. You've made some good arguments on Debate: Abolition of nuclear weapons. I've integrated them into the format that we've adopted, but keeping your working in tact. Well done. Legitimate arguments for sure. Keep up the good work, and follow "recent change" on the site to see what everybody is working on, so that you can join in if you like. ...Oh, your work on Debate: Animal testing was pretty good too, although make sure to pay attention to whether the argument you want to contribut has already been made. You can then add to the argument that already exists to make it better or add a quotation or something. Best, -- Brooks Lindsay 06:50, 30 September 2009 (CDT)

User profile

I have to say, I really like the statement you've made with your user profile. Good stuff Voltaire. And, certainly, you should be very proud of your country. You guys are really kicking butt in so many ways. I'd like to foster you as an editor, having seen some of your good work before. What debates are you seeing in your neck of the woods, specific to South Korea and the region? -- Brooks Lindsay 18:01, 10 October 2009 (CDT)

Great!

Very excited to hear of your interest in our mission. I think what we are doing is truly unprecedented and very important in the world: centralizing arguments in important public debate internationally into a single encyclopedia. On an individual level, what we are doing dramatically enhances individual deliberations - for you (an editor) and others (readers). -- Brooks Lindsay 14:03, 18 October 2009 (CDT)

South Korea

Good work in creating this article. It's definitely a legitimate topic. I've featured it on the main page of Debatepedia. Quick comment: Make your subquestions much smaller, with around 5 to 8 words. -- Brooks Lindsay 08:28, 20 October 2009 (CDT)

Re: Thanks

Anybody that joins our mission is someone who deserves respect and attention. Good work Voltaire. Keep it up. :) -- Brooks Lindsay 08:49, 20 October 2009 (CDT)

Descriptive link titles

Hi, looking at your recently added external links, I've changed their format so they now contain a descriptive caption. Not only it is more informative than just a bare number (or a generic "An article" note), it is also easier to click on (since the area where to click is significantly bigger). See the changes I've made to your links in Debate: Are international organizations worthless. Just put the description inside the brackets, separated by space from the link itself. It's better that way IMO. I've also deleted duplicated links from "External links" section and added asterisk before each of the links, so they now form a bulleted list.

Best, -- Renergy 15:47, 23 October 2009 (CDT)

I'm Back

Hi. It's been a long time since I've been here. I recently had a test which people will murder to pass. Anyway, since I've done the test, I've returned to argue, debate, and contribute to Debatepedia. Thanks. --Voltaire 05:55, 27 December 2009 (CST)

Good work on Big government

Hey Voltaire, I featured your argument on the main page of Debatepedia. Really good stuff. Would you be willing to outline a couple of arguments on the con side of the debate as well... or just more on the pro side. -- Brooks Lindsay (Talk) 11:30, 26 January 2010 (EST)

Re: Big govt

Which debates are you referring to? I have created numerous argument pages that are part of the big government debate article. They are an extension of longer quotes or multiple quotes that are making an argument for or against big government. But, let me know what you mean. I want to make sure I'm not missing something. -- Brooks Lindsay (Talk) 10:49, 28 January 2010 (EST)

No to worry

Hey, no problem. I appreciate you voicing yourself. Make sure to continue to do that with me when you see something you don't like or that you think I should change. There's alot on Debatepedia that can be better... - Brooks Lindsay (Talk) 15:19, 28 January 2010 (EST)

Re: Debate: Unlimited corporate spending in elections

Hey Voltaire, I just created the same article you're working on now. Great minds think alike! :) Can I merge your content over to Debate: Unlimited corporate spending in elections and then redirect your article? -- Brooks Lindsay (Talk) 14:57, 29 January 2010 (EST)

Great argument on Debate: Graduated response antipiracy laws

I've featured it on the main page. :) Great to see you back in action on the site. -- Brooks Lindsay (Talk) 14:39, 27 April 2010 (EDT)

Definitely

Yeah, create it. Great topic. There's no topic too big on Debatepedia.org. :) And, in general, if I see you or anyone else creating a debate that isn't appropriate - via Recent Changes - I'll let you know. But, at this point, I consider you one of our trusted editors, so feel free to take liberty in creating content, debates, and in editing others' work. -- Brooks Lindsay (Talk) 10:15, 7 May 2010 (EDT)

Debate: Democratic re-unification of Korea

Hi Blah!

Seeing as you take an interest in this neck of the woods I thought I'd notify you that I've now created a debate on this topic, just in case you would be interested in joining this debate.
