Hi! Please leave a message for now.
You are right Curious Explorer. We've been moving, in many articles, to opening pro/con sections that show the hypothetical motions of the pro AND the con "houses" in a debate. This resolves, I think, what you are rightly pointing out. Indeed, "this house" was initially meant only to reflect the proposition (pro side) of a debate, but not the conclusion or consensus opinion of the community. But, it's better that the motions of both sides of the debate be presented. -- Brooks Lindsay 11:48, 9 July 2008 (CDT)
I agree 100%. Could you lead a project to delete all of the motions sections on Debatepedia? I will show you how. Thank you for your strong, persistent, and correct advice. -- Brooks Lindsay 14:22, 29 August 2008 (CDT)
Very good ideas Curious Explorer. Yes, I think that we should give a try at not requiring registration. Indeed, our community growth could be better. I'll let you know how it goes. As far as the project, I'll try my best to take care of it. But, of course, community starts with people acting on the change they think needs doing. I encourage you to engage editorially in this way, or in ways that are more interesting to you (less janitorial indeed). Best, :) -- Brooks Lindsay 17:08, 2 September 2008 (CDT)
