Argument: Revenue from higher taxes on rich could be reinvested

August 16th, 2010: "Eliminating the Bush tax breaks for the very rich would save the taxpayers more than seven hundred billion dollars over the next decade. That money would make a good dent into the long-term budget deficit, and it could be used to make public sector investments that are sorely needed, for example, putting money into education, roads and bridges, health care and new sources of energy."
